Our Humane Standard
"Humane" gets thrown around a lot in this industry. Here's exactly what it means on our jobs:
- One-way doors first — animals leave on their own terms, zero handling stress
- No poisons, ever — cruel, indiscriminate, and they die inside your walls
- No kill traps, ever
- Ontario's 1km relocation rule respected — trapped wildlife must be released within 1km; we design jobs so relocation is rarely needed
Baby-season protocol (March–June)
Spring is peak raccoon season — and peak sensitivity. Our protocol: no sealing with kits inside, ever. We confirm whether young are present, use reunion techniques so mothers move kits themselves, and only seal once we're certain the den is empty. Separating a mother from her kits is something we simply won't do.
Ask any wildlife company these three questions: Do you use poisons? What's your baby-season protocol? Can I see your warranty in writing? Our answers: never, reunion-first, and yes — more in the FAQ.
